That's really a good way to learn paving operations.With road construction season coming soon,it's a real good idea learn the basics of running the pavers and rollers.

great with sand but this summer i spent a day on a bobcat s185 feeding a paver in an underground parking garage and there was about 14 fans going to circulate the air but there was still only about 10 ft visibility at best. Those fumes had me feeling pretty sick by the end of 10 hrs tho. didn't even eat my lunch that day.

gotta start bringing my camera to work, not that those pics would of turned out anyways lol.

When we started a new crew we spent a week laying sand at the local gravel pit. We went all the way through layout, paving, and compaction the gravel pit thought it was so cool they left the "sand lots" there for weeks before they re-stockpiled them.
