Hey guys, is this a normal price for a gooseneck of this caliber? Or maybe I should ask what is the caliber of them? Good?

Seems like a good price to me!

I'm alos curious how many of you haul your equipment with pickups? I haul a little 40 horse kubota loader/hoe around with our 250... but I'm wondering how many of you tow your 15k lb plus equipment with pickups???

Looks like a fair deal to me. The only thing I see that I don't like is the ramps. I have a Big Tex 20GN and the dovetail is 5' instead of 4'. This lets the ramps fold over onto the dovetail and be level with the deck. Then you can haul longer stuff on a flat deck.

We put wood accross the folded over ramps to stack pipe, hay, and other stuff on. Much better than ramps sticking up in the way.

I haul plenty with a pickup. 287 Cat will go on the 3 axle tag behind 250 or 350 truck. It does better though on the 20GN gooseneck behind a 3500 Dodge.

Steve, neighbor of mine had one delivered to Connecticut this summer with a couple of options. He has nothing bad to say about the trailer or kaufman. It may not be the best trailer but for what he paid and compared to the prices he had gotten locally he couldn't go wrong

As I was told (could be wrong) Kaufman and Kraftsman, used to be the same company and they split up. I have bought 3 Kraftsman trailer and been real satisfied with all them. Its the same old story, you get what you pay for, as far a construction, I think they both have a good trailer. The last one I bought, is a great gooseneck, 10 ton, 28ft tilt, 22ft tilt deck, LED lights, oak floor, extra lights, spare tire, double jacks. It has 12" eye beams, $12,000.00. I think the tilt cost me $2800, over a dovetail. I would never have anything but a tilt, no back breaking ramps to lift.
Hope this helps and up to 2 years ago I used a dually F350, to haul these trailers, I bought a backhoe and it was a little too much for the dually.
If all you are going to haul is a skidsteer, a dually is good, just keep an eye on the weigh

I have the 10 ton kaufmen dual wheel 24 feet i realy like it the beavertail does flip up to make it flat deck just like the others that have ramps that lay down only better to me beause there is no hole in between the ramps the trailer
is probly not as strong as some of the more expensive trailers it flexes alot but its not as heavy as those either as its easier to pull im very happy with it and if you have been pricing around price is good let me know if anymore you want to know about it will try to help
