Hey Guys, 6675, I've adjusted the neutral creep on this machine before with good luck. Now, after adjusting it, about an hour later it's off to the races. I've adjusted it about 4 times like this with similar results. I've removed the dampeners thinking one of those was the culprit, but it wasn't. I'm hoping to have time tomorrow to check out the linkage to see if there was some slop or something else amiss... At first it was just one side forward, then both sides back, now one side going back... When I adjust I do jack the entire machine up & when I'm done neither side even thinks about turning... Any thoughts? :Banghead:Banghead

Slop and binds in the linkages , or dampers are sticking Check the slop in the chain adjustments also. You also might have a loose mount, that holds the whole assembly together, hydraulic drive motor assembly. . The way you are changing the adjustments each time you adjust it might be a clue as to what is loose. The dampers are needed on the machine so removeing them will not help in diagnoseing. but you could have a bad one.

Thanks for the advice, First I adjusted the chain slop on both sides, One side was worse than the other. Then I Pulled the center plate that the cam stops are bolted to off, rotated the cams as they all had partial flat spots, Put everything back together including the dampeners. I finally got it adjusted, but I think I need new bushings on the spring assembly that holds the center plate to the rear. It doesn't appear to be centering itself when one lever is pushed forward & released. It stops crooked & as it stops you can see it pushed against the cam on the opposite drive causing that side to creep. My plan of attack is new dampeners, & new bushings on the return spring.
