This looks to be the start of a resque mission, but I really don't think that pickup will be able to drag it up from the hole..........

No there was a little bit of "organic" material which runs UNDER the road, however our soil expert informed us that we have to remove it. So since we can't very well dig up the road we just cut it straight up and down from the pavement and the D6H was attempting to backfill. There was a near vertical edge on the fill side as well so when he tried to doze in sideways and fell off he couldn't get back up.

No silly pick up trucks travel much faster then packers do when the cable is across site. I hooked the 816B up and it yanked it up without much trouble.

Here is our friend again. This time we needed something a little bigger than an 816 to pull him out...

So tell me. If our fill area runs from the dry area on the right to the mud hole on the left, why is he facing that way??? :beatsme :Banghead
