Sweet photos! seems like a small trailer for such a big excavator, but what do I know... lol.

What's the story with all the plastic wrap in the 3rd photo in the last post?

Great pics john1066, looks like your staying busy. I agree with JimBruce, that trailer looks a little small, but its obviously is big enough to hande the 365. Keep the great pics commin!

Thats a 60 ton rogers trailer. The Plastic i put down because of the ammount of rain we have been having this past month. when it rains instead of washing out the banks it runs down the plastic.

Digging your thrust blocking. Feel sorry if someone has to dig up and replace those valves in the future

At least it's precast. I've never used a precast thrust block. Most of the specs on jobs here are for poured in place thrust blocks against native. At least who ever has to do any repairs in the future wont need a can-go to get to the nuts using precast.

I learn something new every day!

Im going to guess to had to do something with the sewer that required all that asphalt being removed and repaved? I've never seen anyone hand lay that much asphalt, was it hard to roll?

We had to peel all that mix out because the enginner designed the front stairs without taking the grade of the road into account so we had to peel the mix out regrade the area and spread mix. that is nothing for laying mix by hand we have done driveways as well. the mose we have done by hand i think is 120 ton in a day. We have no problem with rolling either the operator can spread the mix almost as good as a paver with a little touch up by hand so it comes out ok.
