Yeah it doesn’t have brakes on the steer axle either but the driver reminded him the year of the truck and that they didn’t come with them. Officer had no idea. Pretty sure it’s the oldest truck he’s ever inspected.
Looks good, I had a junk model 1954 S IH cab that used the washer system in one.Well the 73 Kenworth has a windshield washer system now.
Sure they can, just dump a little cheap rate Jim Beam in reservoir. My K-Dubs get PDI’d in South Carolina and when they get to Alaska, the washer reservoirs are frozen and cracked. Sorry Coaldust, we can’t get -40F washer fluid in Spartanburg.
If DOT did a level 3 inspection--he was apt to write up something. He did a full roadside inspection on a 1973 Kenworth
You still have time to dispute it. Use the newStill irritates me that it came to this. It really wasn’t a hard install but I’m kinda hung up on the principle of the whole matter. He did a full roadside inspection on a 1973 Kenworth and because he couldn’t find anything wrong or unsafe he had to throw this in my lap. Like I have nothing else to do…. I did 8 tires and a pile of other stuff yesterday then a transmission in a truck this morning and this install this afternoon. The truck had glass cleaner and paper towels in it so it wasn’t like there was an excuse for driving with a dirty windshield.
Waste of time at this point, just takes more time out of the day.You still have time to dispute it. Use the new
FMCSA DataQs system portal. I think you have 45 days.

In all seriousness----yes, it would have been much cheaper with one. A huge mistakeI thought you said dual stacks were dumb. In all seriousness,
