PC200LC and 325CL bridge demo

Hi there,

These photos are from back on October 12th. The township has been taking out all of the old cement bridges and replacing them with culverts. For this job they hired two companies. Ault Excavation Ltd and Tackaberry Construction shared the the work.

We were harvesting corn in the farm beside the bridge...which was really annoying as with this bridge out it meant an extra 5 miles each way hauling the grain. We had a breakdown on the combine so I had some time to take some photos of the work.

pic 1: It was aweful nice of them to park the excavator in our gate over night. Combine BARELY squeaked by.

A few more pics. The 325 with the breaker did the demo while the PC200 loaded the cement and did clean up work. The bridge is a lot nicer now. Before our big equipment just fit across, now the road is very wide at this crossing.

They are also replacing a lot of the small old bridges around our area too. I did some backfilling for one with our PC120 for Bray Construction this fall.
