I took a closer look at the Raygo Giant grader today. Looks like they didn't preheat the frame enough when they torch cut it. The other end of the oval cutout has worse gouging but the pic. I took shows some weld build up on the edge. The frame is only about 4" thick! The brackets were welded on by stick welding and it doesn't look like big rods were used. I'd guess 5/32" by the size of the beads. Would be fun do big welds on thick plates. Much better than thin crap and you don't have to worry about burning through.
