Hour meter stopped working

The hour meter on my 2005 CAT 320CL serial # PAB 03577 has stopped working. Does anyone have a wiring schematic or diagnostic steps

thx in advance.

Most hour meters that I have be exposed to are on from a run cct like the alternator on an engine or a main run contactor for an electric machine. Running means the little synchronous motor is running and that turns so gears that turn the number wheels. Cam
