I regret not taking pictures of all the cool stuff I saw, did and witnessed during my short time in the SE AK forest products industry. I caught the last breath of the glory years, met the legends, listened to their tales.

#camplife. I thought it would never end. There would always be another season and another camp.

Now, the forest land carbon credits are sold to California corporations to make their shareholders feel good.

I only spent 7 years in camps in SE but loved it. One of my employees had an outfit up there working for SEAlaska when it went to carbon credits & he lost everything at 67 years old.
Sad to see it all end.

Lots of sheet metal damage. Probably not a lot of damage to the mechanicals and the hydraulic system.
