Anyone know where the horn is located on a Case 580 SE.
Always been kinda off and on working and always meant to fix it.
Yesterday went to look for it but unfortunately it doesn’t work at all now so have no idea where it is.
Looked around engine and in front but don’t really feel like pulling stuff off unless I have a good idea where it is first.
I do have the manual but figured I’d ask here first.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

We've got a forklift at work that has horn issues, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't and out floor is pretty tight and populated, so I like to honk on the rare times I use the machine. It's been like this for years and you have to push in just the right spot. Yesterday I was moving some junk and that spot wasn't working for me any more. Press, press, nothing, nothing. I started yelling "Honk, Honk!" as I was coming to intersections and turns.

I could check the horn button but it would be easier to just check the horn itself as it stays outside and horns really don’t like that.
Guess I will crawl underneath and take a look.
Something tells me I will find it behind the front grill.
Just wish I paid attention to where sound was coming from when it was kinda working.lol

I have 1993 Case 580 SKT and I also am searching for the horn. My activation switch is located on the left side of the steering column along with the left-right turn signal arm. Possibly it is a defective relay, any idea where that may be?

Found my horn on drivers side on frame right under seat. Unfortunately, last night I put my plow on and found that I have no lights, flashers so I need to find the fuse box. Looks like I have to take dash off, will look in a bit.

Yep just finished, couldn’t find diddly squat in manual as to where located.
Found middle 5 pin relay burned up, block wasn’t too bad so cleaned all connections and put dielectric grease on every connector and switch and blew out with air gun. Had a 5 pin 30 amp relay from something so put in.
The front light switch has loose blades and melted connector, so soldered blades and used melt on receptors.
Now the horn works lol but damn dog still runs under bucket.
Also mounted Curtis plow that I added 9 1/2” each side with a little angle for wings. Now my rear tire won’t run over banks on corners.
Have 2” pipe welded on bottom as I have about 650’ of gravel and still works well on the 150’ of pavement.
