‘75 Loadstar 1700 with 345 2bbl, 5sp with 2sp rearend. Just discovered the Daybrook build plate on the scissor lift. Best guess is late 40’s/early 50’s lift?? Still can’t get-over the size of the twin rams on this lift. Plan was to cut the front rollers to make it dump-only… can’t seem to bring myself to do it…wish I could make it do both scissor or dump.

I learned to drive in one of those, 9 yrs old, up and down the rows of hay bales so the men could carry them to the trailer. Thankfully, we started getting large round bales about the time I got big enough to carry bales to the trailer.
We had alot of old IH when i was 8 dad bought a 1970 Chevy c60 i thought for years it was cheap junk because it was so easy to drive compered to the IHs. The chevy had such a small how engine how could it be any good. Now i have a IH with a chevy engine.
