Well some masking to go Back On. Got aggravated as Left Fender was something wrong with Clear, started to sand to buff but the orange peel ran really deep, just said enough and sanded it down to reapply paint and clear. May not have been enough time between coats, solvent pop. Got 90% of runs cleaned up, still have to LIGHTLY sand some drier clear applications and buff those.

So I am now enjoying Third cup of mud for the morning (16oz), awaiting the local Auto Parts to open so can pickup more 320, 600 and 800 W/D paper. Then on to Hardware for more 2-4mil sheeting. Will be back masking when do the clear along the hood upper transition line at edge of sand line.

I hate to see the do and redo you have had to accomplish for this project but admire your diligence and professionalism in making sure it is all done the way it should be done. Thanks for sharing!

I have to wonder at times if I would have been tempted to just say good enough and gone on.

Was pretty bad. could not stand it. Much of Gray masking is back on Left Side and across top of cab, need to cover R tank, tool box and R Fender then set Blue line tape for Gray Edge. Be spraying tomorrow.
Get Gray completed at around 45 minutes to an hour from second coat will fold back hood mask, final wipe down of Blue side and then clear the L fender and hood side, Again.
