Well i got a Cat 225 excavator serial number 76u03978. Problem is one of the travel hydraulic motors is not getting full flow of pressure. Making machine turn as it drives. I know alot of people are going to say it the swivel. Nope i already rebuilt it. How about the hydraulic pumps, been there done that got the t shirt. Both have been rebuilt. Reason you make ask, one pump went out. Nice brass metal all in system. Yep i cleaned it all out, oil is clean now. Machine has no other issues all other functions work great. Just the right track motor not getting full flow. "When sitting in cab track right under me, with motors in rear of machine. I think its like the hydraulis control valve not opening.

If your wondering why someone would do all this. I got the machine for free. Today with only issue one track slow. I have $3,000 in it parts. So a fun project. Thanks for any help you can give.

Good day
You appear to have all the angles covered, may I suggest you have missed something along the way, finding that offending part requires measurements made in a methodical manner. The trouble shooting information is to heavy to post you can down load the information by clicking on thise link. If however you are convinced that you have all the points checked sorry to waist your time.
Kind regards

or maybe the brake is dragging on that track?
I looked at that after seeing mutli post on this site about the brake. This brake i actually had to rebuilt seals were out. Then after that i remove the planetary cover. To check all the gear teeth and bearings. They all look like new.

But with travel motor off. When i push either travel pedal. You can see brake slide and input shaft turn freely. Machine actually drives prefectly straight forward and back. With this travel motor off.

With this travel motor out i can see as i push the pedal backwards. When the good track starts to move this othe pump not even turning yet. Then about half pedal it finally starts. Other direct it start turning sooner, more inline with good travel motor. But it jerky as it goes at times. This had made me think maybe up aomething in the pedal valve controls. The stick wont turn the machine if i push it to my left. Right yes left nothing.

Also i went ahead ordered a service manual off ebay. I hate when i dont have a book to look at.
