Folks, my Deere 160 clc is stuck. Having to remove sun gear on final drive before towing out of ditch and soft clay. Took side final drive plate off but now am unable to pull sun gear (inside of planetary gears). Is there a trick to get it to release?

Remove the bolts that hold the sprocket to the planetary hub but don't split the chain. This allows the sprocket to slip on the hub and is ok to tow without damaging anything.
