Not trying to bash yall for not responding, but i would like to find a place where i might be able to get a little more help. Or if you know someone in this forum that i might be able to contact directly it would sure help. Thanks

What are you looking for? I don't remember seeing any thread from you before this. There is several knowledgeable Komatsu guys here that can answer most questions with a model and serial number.

I put a post on june 9 looking for hydraulic filter #s and fluid type. Had model and serial there as well as engine #. lot of views but no replies. I was a little surprised at that because everyone is typically VERY helpful. Hence my concern that it wasnt a popular model and maybe there just wasnt much info available here. No disrespect intended to anyone.

Sell it JK. I’m a Komatsu fan. We have a few. Great machines. The dealer can’t tell u the number? We have a D31P -20. I don’t have the number for the hyd filter but I know I had to get it from Komatsu. There wasn’t a cross reference to anything. It’s an incredible little dozer. I said I’d never sell it and I may not lol. We also have a D41p-6 and it to is a great machine. It’s a hoss for its size. I’ll try and find the filter number for my 31
Maybe that’ll help

Thanks Southernman. I understand that Komatsu has a lot of parts that dont cross reference. I thought maybe info on some of the standard maintenance stuff might be more readily available. I know I will eventually find it. I do need to find a dealer that can help me in the future tho.

I don't know how it works in the US , there is a difference between a dealer , a Komatsu agent and people who can work on them . A Komatsu agency as in franchise holder would surely be able to find what you want . I would have rung them and dropped it in their lap . All the OEM fluid filters for my dozers have come from Mexico , closer to you than me .

That could be out of the Donaldson factory. All JD filters come from there.

I was having an issue with the oil diversion warning light staying on for 5-10 minutes with Donaldson filters fitted , not been an issue since I changed to Komatsu filters . But the oil was changed at the same time so can't say the warning light issue was just the filters which is a pity . I've been told that Hitachi own Donaldson , tangled web , wouldn't be surprised to find the difference between the filters is the paint and the box they're sold in .

Try eBay or Tradebit for manuals. The Operator manual has basic servicing info. Some of the oils mentioned are old ,but there are modern updates.
There are a few filter cross reference websites on Google.Try Fleetgard LF4056 for the engine oil filters.
Maybe 113-60-23160 is the HYD filter.
Try Rock & Dirt or Machinery trader for used parts.
You can get steer/brake parts from General Gear,Idaho. Plus there are other aftermarket parts out there...pinions,throttle cables, etc. China makes lots of new undercarriage & other parts. Some guys buy it thru Alibaba or Ali Express.

Thank you everybody for your replies. Jiminoz, I am definetely looking for manuals(if i cant find mine at the farm this weekend) so thanks. I will give some, or maybe all, of those sites a try. Epirbalex and Tones, would you recomend oem filters or will I be ok to go aftermarket? Coalrulz, that diagram is a great help. If I dont find my book I would most assuredly be interested in that service manual. You may have to give me a quick tutorial on how to dm you though. I will let you know after this weekend and I have had a chance to look for my books. Thanks again to all y'all!

I'll stick with the OEM filters . Its not a major cost item compared to a service .
