Mechanical pull knob to shut it off normally? Is that connected to the injection pump and moving the shaft it's on? Does it have any mist or smoke out the exhaust when you crank it? Was it under load when it died, or just driving with little load? Try the bleeders on the injection pump and see if it has any air when you use the primer pump. Then loosen one injector line at the injector, and crank until there's spurts of fuel with no air. resting between short cranks to not burn up the starter.

yes its working, its moving the shaft its on the pump no smoke or mist, driveing with little load. I will put the tank on it and try what you said and let you know.4 small hex screws holding the vale cover on where hand tight and enabled the motor to have a thick cake build up,so its nice to know it wasnt for nothing lol

Try loosening the bleeder by the nameplate on the pump..
U need a 5/16 box end wrench..
USE THE BOX END..
It’s a double screw.. loosen up the 5/16 portion and crank the engine..
It should shoot a stream of fuel a city block.. lol. but seriously, about 3ft.. if it does, GREAT.. tighten it back up SNUG.. not cheater bar tight..
Now loosen ALL the steel injector lines.. put the throttle wide open and crank till u get fuel up there..
Don’t burn u the starter trying.. if it doesn’t show fuel pretty quick, stop.
IF it doesn’t squirt fuel at the bleeder, that’s bad news and u gotta call a wrecker to get u back to the shed..

i did what you said it fired up and ran great! shut it off, started it up drove over to the wood pile, loaded the bucket with wood.Started it up and backed up 15 feet and she quit like before, the 5/16 bolt pissed the fuel out about the same pressure as me on a good day.I noticed after the manual pump ( 1 year old ) the line goes into the first filter on the right side but the arrow is pointing out.The out side of the first filter housing witch goes to the left side filter has the arrow pointing into it.Mabe that dont matter?she ran good before.

Bibs..the arrows are like that on every one I’ve EVER SEEN..
Idk why.??
Did u put the oring UP IN the filter head and not ON THE FILTER..??
It’ll run and shut off like your describing.. if u put the top oring ON THE FILTER..
Glad u got’r going..
PayPal is open..lol

hi guys, the second fuel filter has that big square o ring to seal it to the housing.it seemed a little to big it was crushed almost all the way around but about an inch of it. The remaining part was exposed and rotting out and cracked , after replacing it she seems to run good, for now anyway !!
