Jeet Sangara Collection This old Kenworth wasn't a bad ride . It is owned by a Cobble Hill Excavating Company . It was used as their Lowbed Truck , they also had a "Jeep" with a "Pole Trailer" to haul logs . When I started it had a 13 speed trans that was making a lot of noise . I pointed it out to the lead drive and he said it had been that way for quite a while , don't worry about it . It didn't make the week ,going through Duncan one afternoon it started making some serious noise . I found a wide spot and they had a self loader come and pick up the load. It went back to a shop on the "Hook" , when they took the trans out , the input shaft bearings were "Done" . And I ended up with a brand new used 18 speed . scan569.jpg scan570.jpg scan571.jpg scan572.jpg

Unloading a hayrack like that with a crane that has the big grapple is kind of tricky, it takes good communication between the crane operator and driver to not pinch the frame rails with the tips of the grapples. There is a local milk here that uses that system and you used to stand near the front of the truck and give hand signals to the operator way above. Now you stand in a little steel booth and give directions with a radio. There is very little room for error.
