Does anyone know if Lima produced any 50-ton truck crane models other than the 500T? Also, is anyone aware when production of the 50-ton cranes began and ended?

Thanks much.

The guy i worked for bought and sold cranes, rock crushers and all kinds of equipment. He bought a big jaw crusher i think in Oklahoma . It can apart in parts that most were 50t . I was working on a 50 ton grove putting a new house bearing under it i got it done before every thing was hauled in and i used it later on. The boss told me 2 of are trucks would be there with jaw parts and get the Lima set up he all so had a 100t one . I set it up but didnt get it leaved up the best before the truck showed up. I hadnt run a cable crane alot and had never made a pick with one close to its rating . I picked the wall up it was around 8 foot wide over 10' long and around 4 feet thick a almost solid chunk of steel. I used the dog on the winch so i wouldnt have to holed the brake. I swung it clear of the trailer . I pulled back on the clutch with my foot riding the brake and disengaged the dog . I was pushing the winch brake with every thing i had when i let go of the clutch it didnt holed. The wall was about 4 ' off the soft clay. It made a loud plunk when it hit the ground. There was alot of smoke and dust that came out of the crane. Every one new what happen and nothing was hurt. We put the rest of the jaw in a different spot with the Grove and tested my welds on the new bearing out.
