Working on this TL150. Up on the first start up for the day, the right side track will not go forward. The colder the outside temp, the longer it takes to go forward. The right side does go in reverse right away. The left side works both forward and reverse right away.
It takes 5 minutes to 30 minutes to work. Once it starts working it will work the rest of the day. Even if shut off for several hours. Once it works it has power and the track speed is the same as the other side too.
I switched the hoses around at the pilot lever to see if it was the pilot control contact button. It's was not the problem.
So I am guessing there is something sticking, but I have no idea where to start. I hate to spend money on parts. Anyone fix this problem? Seems lots of owners have this problem but have not found a fix yet.

I had one of the servo bolts break on one of my TL150 machines.
Under the #54 in the drawing.
I've also had issues on the other with the #52 Oring.

Sunstrand M46 manuals should be on the web.

Had the same happen on a TL140 twice- these bolts are part of the centering device for the pilot piston circuit for the left and right drive circuit. On our machine it would always want to drift after you let off the control (not ever return the pilot piston to "neutral"

Even if its slow to start moving in that direction, does it have full power/ability to spin the track even when cold? This might start to narrow down if its a pilot control issue or pump/travel motor issue.

When started:
both track work in reverse.
Only one side goes forward.
The above all works strong.
After a time, the side that would not go forward starts working strong.
You can start and stop the machine throughout the day and it's fine.
But the next morning you go through the same routine. Start it, let is idle for 10 to 30minutes. It acts worse in cold weather. 30 minutes plus before it will go forward on the one side.

What is the overall condition of the machine?
How many hours?
Hydraulic fluid level, type and age?
Typical use for machine?
Major repairs in the machine history?
Have you removed the belly pans to physically look at the tandem drive pump?
Did you bleed air out of the pilot lines?

I suggest: Lift the machine off the ground to suspend both tracks. Push the joystick forward and see if right track moves at all. Do you hear the drive motor trying. Without tons of weight on the tracks, maybe it will show signs of moving?

Resolved:
First I tested the Pilot lines going to the pump for the track that would not go forward at startup.
I put 2- 300 lb. gauges on the Pilot lines that go to the pump.
Moving the joy stick to back up slowly at an idle the track started moved in reverse at about 85psi. Machine was on concrete.
I then tried going forward. I max out the joy stick at idle. No movement, with pilot pressure at 270 psi.

I then called All Phase Hydraulic in Grand Rapids, MI.
They confirmed the servo piston is bad.
I took all 3 pumps out as one unit so they could test and repair all 3 pumps while it was out.
I will update once I get the pumps back with the cost and the preformance after installed
