Pacific trucks in the logging industy

Hi, Well it is pretty much done, Pacific P510S BC Forest Products Unit 6-284. Leaving the Pacific Factory floor to head over to Knight Trailer for rigging and trailer. Picture labeled FL (laying out frame rails) was first progress picture, Dec18,2017 after attaching lights and horns last night outside pictures taken today May 7, 2022. This did get back burnered for a year or so wasn't full 4 1/2 year build. Some final assembly progress pictures as well. BIG THANKS to Larry Macnutt at Pacific Truck for his knowledge, info, patience and enthusiasm.

Thanks for info Al, sure looking close I can see it is one of the 2 blue Pacifics. I think the other was number #14. I have some pictures of them way home in Denmark.

It is sad when the trucks are abused and neglected. What I've noticed is that 98% time when you see logging trucks no matter what condition the trucks are in, they always seem to have almost new tires with low wear. Is it just because they are low speed and/or off road?
