HEF - While I diagnose my machine, I also came across a parts machine. What is the compatibility on a -1 and -2?

Interesting too, the -1 machine engine is transverse to my machine. Is this a gray market machine? SN:12H-19627

The turned the engines around on the 2 series after years of bitching from operators complaining about the heat coming out from behind the cab. Also from memory the 1 series has only hydraulic pump mounted on a drive plate. The 2 series drives the pumps through a gearbox. Some parts could be interchangeable like track drives, engine, rams etc.

Very few components interchange between the Dash 1 and 2. If you have a Dash 2 service manual Hitachi had a section in the front that compared the two models as far as component interchange.
