Honcho, many years ago I had 3 front teeth knocked put by a Wisconsin engine crank ( they were a manufacturer of air cooleds here), I needed a tooth repair and it involved the bridge that was installed using anchor teeth on each end. They wanted $7000.00 ton replace the permanent bridge, I said not at 77 yrs of age are you putting that much money in my mouth. They finally filled the tooth in question a whole lot cheaper. $265 was the damages when it was all said and done.

Melben, you seem to be mentally strong for 77. Good for you. My did retired yesterday at 83. He has been a barber for 62 years and is still sharp as well!

Thank You JL,

I had a long career with the Case although not at the CE contract level, most of my career was with skid steers and the 530 through the N series and the hydraulic end was no problem but the computerized part of it was the line drawn in the sand so to speak. There is not much I have not seen in the years and my goal is to pass on as much as I can in the time I have left. I have worked on a couple of excavators but they are not my strong suit. I am blessed to have several strong Case people on here with me and enjoy helping others sort things out.

I used to have a tongue piercing and one day I managed to chomp down on the metal ball of it with my very back, top, right tooth. I went to the dentist and they basically said we can try to fill it or you can just leave it be and the sensitivity would decrease over time. I went with the latter route and it's been fine, though weird to have kind of a triangle shaped tooth back there. I only notice if I jam my tongue back there. 1000 bucks is expensive, sounds like the Russians have similar prices as Americans on this one.

Had a tooth extracted last year. It was beyond saving. The way my root system is, they had to put me under, and get it out Guy said it took him 40 min, biggest roots he had ever seen. Now I keep biting my tongue. They want to drill my jaw, put an anchor in, and put a new tooth on top. It was $360 to remove the old one, and they want $4000 for the new one. So I guess I'm going to have to learn not to bite my tongue.
