So I have a Volvo SD70D and it needs some new hydraulic hoses going to the front roller and the vibration motor on the front. The hoses are all mismatched and the pressure ratings are all over the place. How do I know how much pressure these hoses see? I called my local dealer and also VolvoCE and could not get anyone to answer the phone. Thanks for your time!!!

Most manuals have this info
If you don't have a manual, pretty sure you can find one doing a web search

Any hydraulic shop should be able to help you. If you get a name brand hose like gates/Parker or areoquip. Any of those brands a 2 wire hose should be more than enough for what pressures you will see on your roller. Container hoses say msha rated for xyz but thats really kinda a maybe it is maybe it isn't rating. Better to go with one of the brand name hoses. If your lucky enough to still be able to read the numbers on your hoses by the fittings Volvo puts the part number of the hose on there. Any volvo dealer and most hydraulic shops can translate that into needed fittings/ hose size/ length/ pressure and fitting clocking all from the number. A good 2 wire hose is rated at 4000 psi.

One side is feeding the vibration motor which is usually much smaller than the drive side. These hoses are usually-4 to -8. You probably won't see above 2500 psi. The other side is drive motor. The hoses should be -12 or -16 and rated above 6k psi. Hope this answers your question, good luck
