Guess should have practiced a few days in a barrel of razor blades, but managed to get the Air Bag lines swapped, as well the PS Hoses(ALL) two front drive slack adjusters and chambers but have to order more Bendix Cam Retainer E-clips. Hands are a Taste SORE!

Tomorrow starting with Cab ride height, then moving back to rear drive brake chambers and slacks., have that fuel return flow valve and lines to set then maybe the rear forward drive shaft. MANY MANY nylon ties and clamps for the Air lines but ALL Four are set anti-seized and tight.

Still have to reclock the Back Cans, need about 30-45 degree off Square for lines. Looked to the Cab ride height valve, gonna have to order the feedback rod, Rust jacking took it. Just not in the mood for the fuel lines today as the Bendix E Clips for Cam to Slacks all but one self destructed.

Tomorrow is a Hallmark day, I achieve another Birthday, old as dirt and about twice as Coarse. Was my Mother's Valentine Present that year, also her worst nightmare from then forward. Saw me hit by car at three, saw me abused by our Dad routinely, saw me get into some of the most DARING issues a young lad could ever then to join the US of Army and end up a HE wrench bender. May even entertain returning to Retired later this year.

Well Happy Early Birthday!! Wife had hers yesterday which works for me, I can get Valentines and her birthday gift in one go. Though lucky me also, she doesn't celebrate and hates Valentines Day though on same note I bought her set of tools for her birthday, she doesn't want the marble and tile or pearls and diamonds either.

I have a feeling you are like me regarding scars. For the most part you really have to look and know where they are to find them. Just now I was looking at the back of left hand and trying to find an sign of a scar from the time I hit a piece of sheet metal riding motorcycle in field. Recall being able to see all the tendons on the back of the hand. Just a couple brandades and good to go. Other people I know could get a mosquito bite ten years ago and still see the mark today!

Happy birthday Dave, misery loves company so I have been enjoying your thread! Here is one we are swapping the engine in, a 2006 W900B. The old Cat was tired so we sent another one we had squirreled away to Cat to rebuild, $43,000 later we got a motor to put in. It needed most everything but they sure know how to charge. I have done a few in house but we don't have that kind of time these days. It took a while longer then we thought because there were no platinum kits anywhere, there was over 1000 on back order at one point. Radiator is being gone through and replacing everything rubber. Hopefully will have it back on the road in a couple days.

I do scar pretty easily, Bohemian ancestry, Olive Skin even as shows Stark White above. Most of my older more prominent scars are close to forty years old yet skin does Hair Over pretty quick and scabs often gone in less than two weeks.

It still amazes me that there are people out there who can't understand the fact that a person who is vaccinated can still get it, the only upside is that the symptoms are milder and it doesn't hang around as long. My youngest grandaughter aged 8 had it early last year even before vaccines were around and was down for quite a while. She got it again last week and from testing positive to testing negative was only 3 days..........

Had 4 friends driving across the border to Canada ice fishing the other day. We are required to have a negative Covid test within 3 days of travel. One of the 4 guys tested positive. He felt fine but called his doctor for treatment advice. His doc told him to go back to Walgrens where he had got the test and get a retest. After explaining that the doc sent him back for a retest, the same technician retested, and he was negative. The doc said that up to 30 percent of these rapid nasal tests can be wrong. He is now fishing in Canada.
