Boom position to check hydraulic oil on Cat 302.7D

Can someone tell me the correct boom position to check hydraulic oil level on a Cat 302.7D?

Sorry, bucket open, so boom, stick, bucket rams all in.

Case 580sk, boom up & locked, stick in and bucket closed. Old Hitachi UH143, boom & stick extended, bucket fully curled closed. Always check book.

Always worth checking the manual. Most of the larger machines the level is checked with the stick vertical and the base of the bucket flat on the floor (2nd illustration) and TBH that's what I would have said.
