I found out why I have no 24V on the two pump solenoids....no 5VDC coming out of the PVC. Nothing burned up, no smell....just 0.9 VDC on the 5V lines for the A sensor for example.

The 5V regulator is probably down because of a zener diode or a regulator Q1 to Q11....can someone help?

mg2361, thank you for the reply. I see in the PVC that the 5 VDC for these two sensors and the A sensor are all shorted at the connector on the circuit bd, so no sir. I have only measured one of the three, but they are connected.

I have a schematic diagram scratched out by inspection of the PVC circuit bd and components for the 5V power supply. There is a pass transistor, Q1 to put 24V to q2, the 5 V pass transistor. Q2 is controlled by a couple of dollar 14 pin IC that controls the base of Q2.

Putting the module back in tomorrow or Friday most likely to get some voltages with the key on. My bet is the IC is bad.

Wish me well. If you want to know how it goes, I will get back to you. Success and failure are worth sharing. This forum and some free manuals from the forum discussions over the last 12 years on this subject might save my behind. With out the leads in the threads, I would be begging for JD to come look at this EX120.

Thanks for the empathy.
