D7F serial number … what year

Can anyone help me with info regarding my newly acquired D7F …. It was gifted to me …. Runs well with great engine and good undercarriage. It needs a respray but I have all the glass for the windows!

Thanks for the replies. All that seems wrong is the blade tilt cylinder needs a new seal. I'm clearing 200 acres of thick scrub with it.

Where abouts are you working that tractor? I did think there was any scrub left .:D

What you have depends on the engine and transmission in your 92E2960 unit (1975)
I can only offer how it would compare to the 94Nxxxx serial number machines.

With the 3306 engine and if you have this transmission you are passed the early changes and have a good machine.
Thanks for that! I was aware of the ‘big’ and later ‘small’ D6 type transmission but now I can compare it to your graphic! I have a full D6D workshop manual but nothing for the D7 yet! I’m hoping they will be quite similar in many areas.

Car and Tractor books may have a manual

A D6D and D7F are really nothing alike.

Quelqu’un peut-il m’aider avec des informations concernant mon D7F nouvellement acquis .... Il m’a été offert.... Fonctionne bien avec un excellent moteur et un bon train de roulement. Il a besoin d’une repulvérisation mais j’ai tout le verre pour les fenêtres!
