Nice work LC.

Here in AL we can't run the secondary power conduits from the transformer pad to the building, only licensed electricians can run it. However we can run the primary conduits for miles since the primary is on APCO's side of the grid.

Gov't right?

That's an interesting retaining wall. Is that 5/4 PT decking board?

CM you would think things in this country would be more standardized. I guess it just depends on where you go as to who can do what.

As for the retaining wall that is 2x6 maybe 2x8 sloppy V tongue and groove. We still needed to add more back strapping in the one pic. That is what the architect spec’ed and it does hold up good. There are no tie backs at all. You bury the same amount below ground as you want above and compact around the bottom. We usually lay it back about one inch with a four foot level so when you backfill it is perfectly vertical.

We bought it out of Virginia from a little farm dealer. It’s all original, paint and undercarriage and so on. We’re going to use it on some of our residential work, filling pools and foundations and stuff like that.

Newly, we stay rolling all year. We don’t even get a slow down. Sometimes I do wish we had a slow time to catch up on some things that need doing.

Thanks Kenworth. I appreciate that. Will post a bunch of pics of a decent size demo we are doing.

It was a conference center with several ball rooms. Would have been a lot easier if we could have taken down some of the trees and the slab was not elevated the way it is.
