Like everybody else I began life unusually young.
From an early age I've been an electrician, but never been content with only that. An obsession with machines & guns necessitated developing mechanic & welding skills. At age 24 I built my own home, where I still live. It was not my first building, I built a garage at age 16 where I did auto body work well into the night. For a while in my very early 20s I joined with a partner to rebuild wreck BMW automobiles. Personality incompatibility ended that. 20 years ago, I graduated from farm tractors, bought my first backhoe, then dump truck, then bulldozer.
These days, I'm working my way up the ladder with trucks & backhoes. Yet to find my dream backhoe. JD 410C comes close but no thumb.
I've got someone else putting my dump body on a newer, (1990) chassis. Driving me crazy with little progress.
