The way the flash picked up the textures in the picture it does look a little loose but in person it looks great! The truck is going to be awesome. The front seats and carpet are the last of the big items then it's just the deck left to do and it will be done.

It's certainly coming along. It's starting to get exciting now with how close it is to being done.

Good thing there aren't any leaks where you live! We took one of the old windows in to Kenworth and held it up against a new one is how we found out. I haven't seen it in person yet but there's no center post on mine now. It sounds like it looks really good.

He did an awesome job, so did the engine guys. We ended up putting a new heavy duty head on the engine with oversized valves and heavy duty valve springs. Exhaust brake is on and they did a great job with the exhaust pipes. Pictures don't do the color justice, it really pops in person!

We recently learned about the windows being smaller then the standard KW windows. Glass installer cut new ones to fit and has to get creative with the new rubber seal. New style KW does fit perfectly, all we had to due was move the latch post.

I wonder if the different turbo placement is due to it being a commercial engine with the bigger turbo maybe? It used to have an exhaust brake but it was missing when I bought the truck. I am planning on putting a new one on it.

Engine is back in, it should be running and driving again by the end of the day. Rear headliner is in, soundproofing and insulation are almost done, the rest of the interior pieces are starting to come together.

Interesting. Nice to know. I'm not sure how long the previous owner owned it for in total but the last registration on it expired 10 years before I bought it. 10 years is a long time to sit!

It is a 5.9, just a commercial grade version of it. What was the original price of it?
