    Loosen the fuel cap and see if it will stay running. If it does stay running, the vent in the cap or in the tank is plugged.

    Have you compared prices of parts yet for each machine. What about resale value. You will get your 20% back plus more I suspect when it is time to trade.

    New chains popping on D3

    Make sure whoever bolts the pads back on gets the paint off of the top of the chain where the pad sits. If they don't, the pads will come loose.

    From my experience the manufacturers weight is always lighter than what the machine really weighs. How much fuel is in the tank. Does it have a bucket on it. Those things add weight to the machine also.

    All the pin holes have bushings in them. You could cut the old ones out and find some with a smaller inside diameter.

    Lot of corn fields up there. Well if you live in Court House I would maybe call the Monroe store. It's about the time of the year for for some municipalities to be trading machines so they may know of something coming in soon. The salesman in Monroe are really good guys.
