    Jcb 520

I'm looking at an older JCB 520 4x4 loader and can't seem to determine what make engine is in it, anyone know? Anything special to look out for on these machines? This one has super high hours so I would expect to have the engine overhauled. What kind of cost would I be into?

Michigan 95B Loader info needed - Help

I have a manual, with parts on CD I can copy and send to you. if you steering was previously sloppy then the crappy steering gear box that they put on those machines is likely worn out, I will send you the name of a place in Vegus that sells rebuilt ones that are an exact fit. Seems to me it...

    Slow movin Michigan Loader

The next thing you want to find out is where the original fluid went to in the first place. Whatch for leaks and drips. Most often from the shift rods or seals. Good luck, glad I could be of help in a round about way.

    Slow movin Michigan Loader

Not sure if a 125A is the same but there is a drain plug at the bottom of the trans and a second one on the side about a foot up, this is the level check.

    Slow movin Michigan Loader

Fluid too high There is a fluid check plug on the front side of the tranny about a foot above the drain plug. If the fluid level is too high, it's almost a sure bet that the pump seals for the steering, hydralics, or whatever are leaking down back into the tranny. They share common fluid and...

    Steering gear box kaput!

My Michigan 75A straight frame just developed a steering gear box problem, kind of a snap then would'nt steering left. Managed to get it up the lane and now won't go right. Took the control arm off and if I steer it to either direction and apply pressure to the arm it just crunches it's way...

Michigan 95B Loader info needed - Help

Why not post a couple of good pictures of your loader with the wheelbase, width, and engine side view shots especially of the manifold and pump, that should clear things up. The guys on this forum have owned or own just about every piece of old iron that was ever made. I have manuals with all...
