    Question for distributor drivers

Hi sticky, Suck some diesel back through the nozzle while it is sucking. When done at the end of the day dump a little diesel in the intake cap and let it soak overnight. I have never operated a Rosco but have done this with Etnyer distributors. Telescooper

    Question for Paver Operators.

Ok, I see. Yep its a widener, I think its a little more difficult to be pushed by a widener then a paver. Just drive straight dont play with the steering wheel to much. Just my thoughts, Telescooper

Are you backing into a widener or a paver?

    Question for Paver Operators.

Funny thing that is what I used to tell to drivers. They play the wheel all the time, make little adjustments. Paver operators don't like to steer any more than they have to either.

    Question for distributor drivers

If your oil squirter is old, even if it has a computer, you will have to use the slide rule that came with your truck. Newer distributors just punch in the desired rate, however refer to the manual. The whole process is still pretty simple. Before you can accurately apply the product at the...

    Vogele Super Pavers

Who was your Vogele rep? Ours was Tom, he covers Eastern Canada. Our Vogele has a vibratory screed, no tamper bar on ours. Not maintianing a consitant head of material, will cause problems. Not paving at a consistant speed can also cause problems. Are your augers set at the proper hieght? They...

    Vogele Super Pavers

I operate a Vogele paver, with a Carlson vision screed 5030 or something like that. We have encountered the washboard with other pavers also. One time the washbord was caused by incorrect angle of attack with the screed. On another occasion because of the screed srews ( hand cranks) needed...

    Grease Guns

Hey about ten years ago I had one with a slider on it. Never seen one like it since. The button types dont care for them. Our new paver has them for the steering. I think Alemite stuff is pretty good. Auto greasers when they work properly are pretty tuff to beat. just my 2 cents worth...

    Any Gradall operators here

Hi Dee When ditching with a Gradall you really should not be swinging. The movement should be boom and bucket. When doing round bottom ditches do them off the side. Place the digger cab as close to 90 degrees from the carrier as you can, this will help you keep the ditch will be straighter...
