    Case 580B Only goes in reverse...

    I have a Case 580B with the power shuttle transmission and it seems to be stuck in reverse... I can switch the shuttle shift to forward and I can hear what sounds like the fluid moving but it still only goes backwards. I have tried draining and refilling the oil but that didn't seem to do...

    Case 580b backhoe won't go forward or reverse...

    I just purchased a 1971 Case 580B backhoe/loader from an old farmer who said that it won't move forward or reverse until it's warmed up. I got the thing home and ran it for a good 30-45 min and it seemed like it wanted to move in 2nd gear but just wouldn't go. The shuttle lever on the column...
