ASV RC100 with Loftness carbide cutting head.

This thing really needs to go. Make a reasonable offer and I will see what I can do. I hate to seperate the two units. But I will take $12,000 FIRM for the cutter alone. Brand new high pressure lines and valve block. Belt was also replaced less than 75 hours ago. Only 300 total hours on the...

How did you owner operators get started?

I hate to discourage any entrepreneur. But 5 days isn't gonna cut it. ;) I started the summer after my high school graduation at a community college heavy equipment operators school. Did that for 2 years then went and worked for almost 6 years with a couple of different companies. Many would say...

    New heavy equipment fun park...

I guess it is kinda fun the first few times you run a piece of equipment. So who is gonna pony up and give this guy some competition? If they will pay that much to run a 315 and a D5. They might come off more money for a 330 and D7...

Utility people!!! I need a piece of 24" pipe. Need it strong too!!!

If anybody is bored. Here are some shells my buddy has made. The videos unfortunately do them ZERO justice as the size and sound of these things just can't be felt. It is an awesome sight though. Turn your speakers up. ;) Here is a single 12" shell that releases 12 smaller shells along...

Utility people!!! I need a piece of 24" pipe. Need it strong too!!!

He makes much bigger than 6-8". I used those as an example of what you might see at your local town or fairgrounds 4th of July Fireworks show. He usually makes shells 10-12" for recreational shooting but has made as big as a 16". He wont be making this shell alone. It can take several days to...

Utility people!!! I need a piece of 24" pipe. Need it strong too!!!

Needs to be atleast a 10-12 foot length. Would prefer steel, but can be made of something else as long as it is strong. The pipe will be for a couple of 24'" fireworks shells being constructed. Just as a reference, most shells available to the public are 1-2" and the average fireworks show might...

    Equipment pictures

No doubt some of Barnhills equipment is rough. I admire them for getting as much life out of a machine as they can. But it sure made for a long day when you are stuck on one of their old relics that just wont die like the D9 you pictured for 11 hours in the middle of July. Fowler definately has...

    Equipment pictures

Nice pictures. :) But you are going to give me nightmares with those pictures of one of Barnhills old D9's. I spent more than my fair share of hot summer days back when I worked for them on that behemoth of a machine pushing 621 scrapers.

Bend over and touch your toes if you need fiberglass parts for an ASV

Nobody understands more than me how expensive it seems like everything is for equipment. But still, $659 for no bigger than that little hood is, and bare at that. Doesn't even include shipping it here. I couldn't bring myself to order it and pay that much. So my project this Friday will be...

    Tub Grinders and Horizontal Chippers.....

You are preaching to the choir man. I already have an RC100 with a Loftness carbide head and a couple of Woods heavy duty bush hogs I use. Unfortunately mulching machines are not always the best choice for the job.
