    Telehandler boom/sequence chain out of adjustment. Can I just cut a link off?

    A customer of mine has a few telehandlers and all of the chains are out of adjustment. Can I just cut off a link to shorten the chain and adjust or will it affect something that Im not thinking about?

    Well the tag is rubbed off. I took it off today.     everything on the ground control works fine except for the boom down. One thing I have noticed is that the voltage on the swing function(ground control) is only 3v. If I jump 12v to it the swing goes around a lot faster so Im assuming thats how the rabbit/turtle function works but Im unsure.
