    Fuel Pump Problem

The bolt looks untouched but I adjusted it a few times. Tried setting unloaded RPM at 59 and when dropping the load afterwards it was still climbing to shutdown point. Am going to try again tomorrow. The adjustment screw works well. but the problem remained. Think maybe this unit was run a...

    Fuel Pump Problem

It is on a Generac Generator. Will post a picture of pump later today as I am not there. The over Frequency setting is currently set at 115%. The valves have never been set on this unit, as the company just got it. Maybe there is too much fuel being dumped in, but it does burn clean with no...

    Fuel Pump Problem

Oil was just changed. Did pull one breaker at a time. Each one pull sent the frequency up more and more, till it shut down. Simon C

    Fuel Pump Problem

I did try turning the frequency down to 58.5, it was working good . Once load was dropped it went down on overspeed frequency. Not sure if fuel rack is sticky, or some other adjustment might fix it. Simon C

    Fuel Pump Problem

It was adjusted to 61 frequency before loading. Ran at around 59.8 or so with load. The problem is when I pull the load off. Will run fine with load for an hour or more. It is mechanical fuel pump with individual pump units. Any advice. Simon C

    Fuel Pump Problem

Isuzu 4LE1NYGV-03 12000Hours This is a 2017 Generator 25 Kilowatt. It starts up good and runs smooth. Looking for a procedure to adjust the fuel pump for correct frequency. It holds a load at around 60 frequency, but as you drop off loads it goes up and up until over 63 frequency, shutting...

Takeuchi TB260 Starts, but no functions.

A voltage spike could possibly take out a module, welding with improper ground is also a culprit. Hard thing to determine. Thanks for response. How do you like the TB260. Do you find it decent for power, and smooth. Simon C

Deutz 912 injection drip timing degrees

Nice video. I did the same process on a 47 year old Komatsu D155 Engine. It was set to 38 Degrees before TDC and ran well. It took a few tries to get it right. I have the same Wilbar timing wheel as on the video. Simon C

    Komatsu D57S-1 Head gasket seep

That washer is most likely coming from gear train as a thrust washer as was previously said. or could be from an accessory drive off the gear train. I have done too many D155 Engines and they have several in the gear train. Only logical place to find in my opinion. Simon C

    Deere 333d not moving

I would see what mg2361 says from his experience, but I would say that there is probably more hiding in some elbows or elsewhere. If not cleaned, some spool or solenoid will probably get hung up. Simon C

    Deere 333d not moving

It was about to grenade. Not sure what a pump is worth. Could there be cuttings hiding in some other places. May need to do major clean up. Simon C

Yanmar Vio55-5b, tracking issue and blade drift

That kind of makes a person think that there is a leak in the seals of your swivel joint . That would be my first guess, as oil has to go through this unit to run the tracks, maybe someone else will chime in their experience. Simon C
