    Splitting Maul

    . My favourite axe for splitting firewood for the last 40 winters is Hults Bruk 5 lb axe with a wooden 75 inch straight handle.Ive renewed the handle once. Wood is mostly beech and oak, from around 16 inch and down. The bottom block of the tree i sometimes have to use wedge and sledge

    Pacific trucks in the logging industy

    On older dumper trucks i've mounted such emergency steering i used the engine oil pressure ( or rather lack of it) as a signal to start the aux steering pump. Did they use similar systems on these trucks or was it manual activated?

    hoechuckers- standard control layout?

    All the excavators i've been servicing from 1990 till now, like Hitachi, Komatsu, Cat, Kobelco, Doosan,Jcb, Volvo, Åkerman had/has the SAE stick pattern, whitch means boom/ bucket right stick, dipper/swing on left. ISO stick pattern is the other way around.
