    mini ex limits?

I bought a mini last year and yes it seems very tippy. The thing I did was to try to see how far it would go before it would tip. I ended up backing up inclines with the blade and bucket down. It is surprising how far it will go before tipping. Of course you just catch yourself once the...

    loading mini on deck over?

This past weekend I was unloading from a friends trailer. The trailers ramps are about 2" lower than the nice smooth polished edge of the trailer. I had a ton of mud on the tracks and the machine decide it would rather slide out off the ramps then anything else. It was a freaky feeling...

    Three nipples????

I have a Cat 303cr. In the fuel filter door their are there grease nipples (remotes) with ~100 and ~50 written next to them. Does anyone have any idea what they are for? I have tried to hit them with the grease gun and they seem to have no restance.

Before I find out the hard way..

Thanks for the info. I have figured out how to use the bucket to keep the machine level when I am climbing down something. In fact I have quite a bit of practice at it because I tend to do it even on the slightest slopes. I slowly finding that the machine is more stable than it feels. Okay...

Before I find out the hard way..

I just bought a farm complete with a 2004 CAT 303CR. I am completely a newbie with an excavator (but having a ton of fun). I can't seem to find any infomation anywhere about how steep it can climb without tipping. I am pretty parnoid about going over any on any slope for fear of it tipping...

Do you run your mini-x at full throttle?

I thought that the control was more of a speed RPM control as opposed to a throttle. The high/fast the setting thet faster things moved, not nessisarily more power just more speed.
