Backhoe Bleeding fuel and keeping it started

Figured out the issue as I finally had a couple days to work on the machine. There was some algae so I had to clean the tank and all the lines, added some additives to the fresh fuel and installed new fuel filters along with a new fuel pump. Once everything was bled, it started right up.

Backhoe Bleeding fuel and keeping it started

I'm having issues keeping my backhoe running. I had to replace the return line so after I bled the air from the system and got it started, it stays running but its having issues after putting it in gear with some throttle then it suddenly dies. It stays in neutral for as long as I would let it...

Thanks all! I will replace those lines and give an update on it.

Tractor Losing power going up hill

Can you please specify? Do people normally add these retrofit filters to work along-side the old filter or to bypass it? I never heard any boost honestly from the time I bought the backhoe. Figured a OEM silencer ring are normally stock with these backhoes? I really appreciate everyone's help...

Tractor Losing power going up hill

When its cold, it doesn't go up the hill. When its warm, it goes up the hill in first gear barely. When its warm and has been driven a while, it goes up the hill much better. It uses a shuttle shift transmission, but I obviously know which gear the tractor is at when I'm going up this hill. To...

Tractor Losing power going up hill

Unfortunately the tachometer doesn't work. Never had enough time to figure out how to fix it. One thing I did notice is a cracked gas line. This was meant for the original fuel filter but seems like the original owner added a retrofit. 1- Old Gas filter 2 -Cracked gas line 3- New filter (been...

Tractor Losing power going up hill

Maybe a minor amount of smoke increase. Grovners? tire pressure is definitely good.

Tractor Losing power going up hill

I'll offer the best description as possible. The engine runs totally fine, but when going up 3/4 of this hill (pressing the gas pedal all the way) the loader slows down but makes the same engine sound. I dont hear anything bad other then the machine moving slowly as it's reaching the peak. Once...

Tractor Losing power going up hill

I have a New Holland LB75 backhoe. When I first bought the machine, it was not taken care of very well but but would go up this certain hill (~25ft ~20% grade) quite easily in second gear. A year has passed, and I did quite a bit of maintenance to the machine (changed the fuel filter, hydraulic...

    Shuttle Shifter Electrical issue?

Thanks for the help. First I removed the plate underneath the cab and checked the wires. the two wires on the Forward solenoid were touching which was causing the issue.

    Shuttle Shifter Electrical issue?

I have a New Holland LB75.B which has a shuttle shifter. When I was going up a 10% grade hill, it gave out and rolled backwards safely. Checked the fuse box and my F4/A fuse was blown. Put in another and went reverse, that works, but as soon as I put it in Forward drive, the fuse blows. I'm...

    Steering Issue

The steering just went out on my tractor without having weight on the front but after leaving it off for a few minutes then starting back up again, it works but only for a minute. Is the cylinder the issue or the steering pump?

    Converting a Backhoe bucket?

Exactly what I was planning on doing. Just have to figure out the right angle where to mount the new ears so I can pivot the bucket right.

    Converting a Backhoe bucket?

You're both right, although what I will do is make the distance the same as my old bucket. I also have to create enough space between the rear ears for the arm of my backhoe to fit. I'll keep yall updated with photos.

    Converting a Backhoe bucket?

Thanks for all the suggestions. Just bought that bucket for $75 which I think is a steal. The spread of the bottom set of ears are 5.5" so I'll have a guy weld a spacer and extend it with a 3/4" thick piece of steel with a 1-3/4" hole through it. Any other suggestions before I move forward with...
