The JLG 40F Boom Lift Dilemma

Typically, if you use it commercially it should be inspected annually. I'm not sure on the chain replacement as ours is still in ggod shape. OFF or Willie?

Take a look at these, they are not original. I can get sizes if you need them.

EX, Thanks for the feedback. Mine does not have the case drain and OFF suggested that awhile back but didn't find anyone around here that's capable of installing it as I will require drilling, tapping and a fittings installed on mine. I may have to expand my search. The drive motors on ours...

The JLG 40F Boom Lift Dilemma

BDub, I have went to our Cenex Coop (not sure you have one down there) and they cross referenced or matched the existing with a similar tire. We have a standard farm type tire you'd find on a wagon perhaps on the front (we foam filled them) and a standard one you'd find on the rear of a...

    Genie S60

Willie, It wouldn't crank, but I figured it out last week and forgot to log back in. The little bank of micro switches part of the stop button we decided to replace. There's three as you know and as we removed them one at a time we checked them with the meter and the third one was intermittent...

Hello Everyone, I'm new to this thread but have been on the 40F forum for years. I have a S-60 2005 and have a problem my service guys can't seem to help with: When I start it from the basket it will start about 6 out of ten times and operate normally but when it doesn’t I can recycle the stop...

The JLG 40F Boom Lift Dilemma

Hello Everyone, I thought I would mention again in case anyone decides to give up on their 40F I am still looking for a drive motor or two. Off, any chance JLG used the same motor or bolt pattern on newer years? One of those may be easier to locate so I'm thinking.

Hyd.jack, if you don't get it all back together and want to get rid of some parts I'm a buyer. Mine has been rewired from stem to stern and has all the latest safety systems installed but I can not get one of my drive motors to stop leaking and looking for a good one or someone who can rework...

Did you ever figure out the problem? I didn't read your post until now but we share the same issue and mine is a 2005 Diesel. I used it yesterday and for the first hour or so it worked perfect then started doing it again and I thought I had it isolated it to Rabbit mode then it died on Turtle...

I think I got the last one from OFF's private collection. Prior to that we had welded on to it and reshaped it, the springs are replaceable from Napa I believe.
