    Case hood color

    Does anyone know the Case part number for the hood paint color on a 2006 Case Super M series 2. Mine is coming off about like every other one of that vintage. Thank you.

    Takeuchi TB180fr slow oil leak

    Have an oily hose way above the swivel joint that i cant even see in from the bottom or top. Not leaking much but wondering how a person can see whats going on before it blows somewhere. I tryed using my phone but hasnt worked.

    I watched a video on YouTube where a guy took a Rops off a cat 304.5 to work on it. Didnt show him unbolting it. Looks like it can be done at least on that machine.

    Did you figure out the problem? If not sure wish someone would reply with the answer as I have the same machine and might have this problem some day. I have had mine about a year with no problems yet, knock on wood.

    1980 Case 580C questions and specialty tool?

    i had one good machine, their is a trick to over center lock, they all had bad brakes, dont need special tool. Make sure it has the drive shaft from shuttle to transmission.

    The C has kind of a phony brake system. They have steel balls that ramp up when you use the brake. I bet their just stuck up, their known to put you threw the windshield when roading it.

    Case 580c throttle lever not staying set

    If you ever have to take the master out again this is how i did it when i had a C. Take a hole saw and drill a hole on the side of the console across from the master. You can remove it that way, then just plug the hole for next time. Saves a lot with out taking out the console.

    Worst backhoes

    If your looking at a older Case 580c I know some maybe all had a drive shaft from torque converter to the Transaxle. Makes it nice to remove it , can be done easy. Unbolt it , raise up with stabilizers, take wheels off and drag out with hoe.

    On the C that I had, wasnt enough clearance between inner fender and tire to put chains on.

    Case 580C 3rd and 4th gear

    Ya the C that I use to have was same way.Get up some speed shift to 3rd and fourth and would travel on level alright and a little grade but not much.

    Boom Movement Noise

    My excavator did the exact same thing when I got it, doesnt now. You need grease somewhere.
