Broken glass on Kubota SVL 90

I was doing some brush work on my acreage today and EXPLODED the front glass into the cab. (FYI: If this ever happens to you, I wouldn't suggest raising the door as I did as it makes clean up about 10 times worse as glass rains into the cab). The rest of the door is fine. Should I get the...

Operator Presence Control switch on Kubota SVL 90

I want to run a log splitter which I have purchased as an attachment for my Kubota SVL90-2. Unfortunately I forgot to account for the OPC sensor switch which turns off the aux hydraulics when out of the seat, rendering the attachment useless for one person. Does anybody know how to disable or...

    Joystick control counterintuitive when backing.

I just got it this weekend and it is sitting in my garage. It seems awesome. Very comfortable. I bought it to use around our summer acreage so unfortunately I won't be out using it until the summer time. For now I just get to sit in it and daydream :(

    Joystick control counterintuitive when backing.

It would at least be nice to have a choice. I'm sure it will be second nature in no time.

    Joystick control counterintuitive when backing.

I just purchased my first CTL (Kubota SVL90) for personal use and I have no previous experience on operating these machines. One thing I found quite counterintuitive is that when backing the machine, in order for it to got back and to the left, you have to push joystick back and to the right...

    Grapple recommendations

I agree, Anbo makes nice stuff. I'm trying to find somebody who sells in Canada. My machine is 90hp so I don't think weight is as much of an issue.

Insurance in Alberta or BC for CTL

Nobody wants to buy my weeds though :( I don't know why, they are very pretty weeds :)

Insurance in Alberta or BC for CTL

Ya, that has come up. I don't know what qualifies as a "farm" but I will look into it. This is a seasonal property with 24 acres. I don't produce anything with the land although it is in the agricultural land reserve for the district. Thanks for the suggestion Bill.

Thanks Lumberjack. I think I am going to get the MIE product. Here is the link below. It looks like it will do everything I need it to. http://www.michironandequip.com/pages/CustomCatalog/Product/260477#

Insurance in Alberta or BC for CTL

I just bought myself a Kubota SVL90-2 CTL which is for personal use. My problem is that I can't add this on to my existing home policy. They won't do it. Does anybody in BC or Alberta know who would underwrite such a policy? I hate to leave such an investment unprotected. Also, what...

    Grapple recommendations

It hasn't been delivered from the dealer yet! I'm waiting for a few upgrades to be installed. From what I've seen and read I don't think you are going to be disappointed in the 75. Both have gotten enthusiastic reviews.

    Grapple recommendations

I want to buy a grapple for brush clearing and wanted to solicit recommendations regarding brand, size, style. It will be mounted on a Kubota SVL 90-2. I've been looking at a bunch of brands including CA, Anbo, MIE, HLA (in Canada). I've read on a tractor forum that smaller is better in that...

14 pin wiring harness? Needed or No?

It's like anything, when you do it for a living it becomes more of a job. I'm using this machine for personal use so hopefully the novelty stays a bit longer. Thanks for the heads up on the connector. I'll ask for the schematic.

    Komatsu SVL-90

I'm glad to hear that you like your machine so much. Mine has all the extra EPA crap but what the heck. I can't wait to use this thing. The only problem is that I'm worried about is the weight of the machine. I have a GMC 2500HD with diesel with a towing capacity of 12000lb. With trailer I...

14 pin wiring harness? Needed or No?

Thanks Craft. Dealer agreed to install it for $300. Yes, the unit has joystick buttons. You can BET that I'll have fun with this little baby. I can't wait to start!
