  1. Q

Bell 4206D Loss of Hydraulic Function

With the engine running, can you feel the hum of vibration on the discharge hydraulic line coming from the hydraulic pump? I.E., oil flowing through the line?

Bell 4206D Loss of Hydraulic Function

First question to get a better picture of the situation, is this an electrical problem, or mechanical problem? On the 4206D I had experience with, the hydraulic pump coupler at the bellhousing wore out.

    Cat 615c issues

What servicing have you done to the machine since you purchased it? Did you take oil samples before servicing it? How many hours does it show? Serial number? What's the previous history of the machine? Seldom do business owners get rid of a perfectly working machine. I believe there is a...

I asked about the labor to rebuild. At least 2500 man hours. The pictures are of the one in the first post and had the transmission removed in another pic.

I believe this is a 627G. Everyone was on lunch break when I walked through at Ohio Cat Columbus branch. I'll try to add pictures over the next several weeks on their progress.

    TS14 Tranny

What gear? I'd guess a clutch pack starts slipping under the high torque. Take an oil sample.

    TS14 Tranny

I'm interested in the entire package. I'll get back with you after the 30th. I'm waiting on a customer's check to clear. Deere stopped production on those transmissions in 2010. Parts are still available, but pricey. I will go thru both transmissions completely before I consider them safe...
