    Deere 310e no crank condition

I've got a deere 310e with a no crank issue. Was running fine till I Parked it. Went to start , key and 3 electronics come on but will not crank. The fnr lever is in neutral. Upon climbing under the hoe I found a group of four wired that have been pulled loose from somewhere (black insulation...

    Galion 104b engine swap

Grader originally had a j-series cummins in it. Swapping an NTC-290 Cummins (out of a truck) in its place. Will I encounter any issues getting the clutch/housing switched over, or any other obstacles anyone can think of right off hand?

Deere 310e front hub locking up

I've got a deere 310e mfwd. The right front hub is locking up. It will roll about two feet and then lock. I can reverse and it will roll a couple feet then lock. Everything else including the other side of the front axle is working properly. Anybody have an idea what the problem is?

Deere 310e front hub locking up

I've got a 310e fwd. The right front wheel will turn for a couple of feet and then lock up tighter than a drum. If I reverse, it will turn for a couple feet and then lock up that way too. Anybody know what might cause this or how to fix it? The other side operates properly.

Just bought a couple of galion blades one is just a 118, so I'm assuming its series A. The other is a 118 series ek 1. Cant find any info on a series ek 1. Can anyone point me in the right direction. I have a 104B now , what are the differences in the two?

    Jd 310e cranks, won't start

Remove the supply line at the tank or after the lift pump? Also, am I correct in my understanding that if a sensor or something electronic was keeping it from firing, it would do so by not opening the shutdown solenoid right? Therefore, it has to me a mechanical problem with fuel delivery. Right?

    Jd 310e cranks, won't start

Ran a hot wire directly to the solenoid. It clicks, still no start. I guess I'll check for suction on the fuel supply next. Is the inj pump on a keyed shaft? As in, could it be a sheared key?

    Jd 310e cranks, won't start

I don't know for certain that the solenoid is working properly but I do know it's getting power. 12v to the solenoid. I've read conflicting stories, some say the solenoid is replaceable by removing top cover of injection pump. Others say whole pump must be rebuilt. So????

    Backhoe bucket edge

You need a bigger torch tip. A number 4 or 5 Victor tip will do what you are needing. As has been said. Preheat and. Use a track. Torch.

    Jd 310e cranks, won't start

I've got a John Deere 310e with 4045 engine. I've never had any problems with the engine. It has fresh fuel filter and other fluid levels are good. The other day while using it it just died. Now it will crank but will not start. It will run on ether. And I confirmed that fuel is getting all the...

    End dump question

Just bought a 2000 trail king end dump. It's a full frame 3 axle spring ride except the lift axle is air up/air down. It has two separate valves one to release the gate latches and the other to air up/down the lift axle. The lift axle valve is plumbed to a regulator to control the amount of...

    60 series water pump?

I've got a 12.7L detroit 60 series. Checked my coolant level today, it was a little low but I could still see coolant in the radiator. Went to put a couple gallons of distilled h2o in and it ran out on the ground. It's coming out from somewhere above the bottom bolt of the water pump but I can't...

    Upshifts with engine brake

Personally I up shift with the Jake on (low usually) bc my engine is in need of a rebuild and if you try to up shift with the Jake off then you loose too much road speed whilst waiting for the engine to slow down enough to shift.

    Upshifts with engine brake

I leave mine on all ONCE THE ENGINE IS FULLY WARMED UP. Just like any hydraulic system, it's best to get the oil up to temp before Putting under load.
