TA 30-7 ZF 6WG 310 oil leak help

I drew a blue circle on the hole / port on the transmission case picture. It will not help to get a picture of the front because the hole is on the back. I spoke with a ZF rebuilder today He told me that inside the hole is a 10×70 socket head cap screw. As I suspected. There is only a few...

Terex TA30 leak at ZF transmission input flange

Thanks for the help. I found a bigger leak. On the lower back, to the left of the rear output shaft, oil is dripping from a hole. This hole is close to the frame and difficult to see and difficult to access. Do you know what is in this hole? Is there a faster inside? There are two similar holes...

Terex TA30 leak at ZF transmission input flange

Parts book has "8.5 c" in the flange description. May that means the flange(yoke) is 8.5 c diameter. Should I try to purchase seal removal or installation tools? Any suggestions? I did the rear lower output seal. It was a pain and I had good access.

Terex TA30 leak at ZF transmission input flange

Can anyone suggest procedures, tools or tricks to replace about a 3.5 in diameter ZF transmission input shaft seal. Look like I will have to hang upside down between the engine and transmission with maybe 20 inches of clearance. Thanks

    Terex TA30 Differential

Drained some fluid out of the center diff. No big metal in it but the fluid did seem to have a lot of suspended metallic in it. I changed the fluid not too many hours ago. Not sure how many hours of use maybe 50 hours? we didn't get too many dry days for dirt moving this season. But, time flies...

    Terex TA30 Differential

I changed the diff fluid with the best GL5 Limited Slip Synthetic I could find. Book calls for LS GL5 80-90 but closest I could find was the 75-90 and I had to drive 45 min away to a jobber that had it.

    Terex TA30 Differential

Experiencing chatter during sharp turns with my TA30-7. The noise seems to be coming from one of the rear differentials. I guess I am going to again walk next to the machine while it is being driven to try and differentiate where the chatter is coming from. Did a quick google search seems the...

    Terex TA30 ZF 6WG 310 Transmission leaks

I am chasing leaks on ZF 6WG Transmission. It looks as though the Gear Shift Housing (#1573838)(mounted to the upper right side of the torque converter case) is leaking. I suspect Cover #5 maybe leaking at gasket #6 Any ideas why this assembly would start leaking? Anyone have suggestions or...
