    I own a Komatsu WA30-3. It starts easy but very slow off the mark. I understand these loaders are hydrostatic but need help as why it takes ages to get off the mark. Motor is fine; hydraulics work well but just need help on why its slow as takes ages to even go up a slight incline........

    Overheating excavator

    Thats interesting I have a CAT 312 & overheating after 1/2-3/4 hour on 2-3 clicks. The muffler fell off on its brackets & the baffles are missing with one stuck inside. I reattached it but will buy a new muffler now. It has a turbo? Not saying thats my problem but best get a new one.

    Used a 24" crescent & we levered the drain switch off. No lock tight "just arm power"?? Got a drain plug to fit= 24mm thread metric.     Hi Mitch, I always look under the motor & check the oil level before i use my excavators & never saw any oil on the ground. I must have dropped at least 5-8 litres yet couldnt see where it went? I took the cover off & it was very oily then watched a very slow single x drip coming from the tap...

    Hi Nige yes 2nd pic is an eBay substitute. 1st pic is actual plug in the sump. Damn hard to get out. I worry I might put too much pressure on it as do you think it’s Ok to use a hammer on the spanner? Thanks very much I will go with a bolt as replacement as Terracat in NZ parts are expensive...

    May have serial number 1/: inside cab below the seat. 2: engine block on turbo side below the manifold near the front ( radiator end). It will normally have the engine number there. 3: by the rams on the cab?
