    Problem solved! Pulled out the relays and gave everything a good clean. Reinstalled (swapped around) and everything runs (and stops) OK. Thanks all for the advice. Most Helpful! cheers, peter

    Thanks arlman. I ran a wire directly from the battery to the solenoid and found that it was working ok (click, click, click). Leaving the wire attached I was then able to start the machine with no problems. Yippee! No joy however with reconnecting the solenoid and trying a restart. So the...
