    Roll over

Maybe the Bobcat just felt like it was going to roll on it's back. I'm used to New Holland machines so when I ran a friends 753 I was always feeling like it was going to tip. It never did, then my friend got in the machine and ran it twice as fast because he knew it's capabilities.

    Loegering's new track system

These are not over the tire tracks. They replace the wheels. He thinks the LS180 is a bit underpowered to begin with. He actually prefers his old LX665. He says it doesn't bog down as much. As far as track machines, he insists Takeuchi is the best. I haven't seen anyone here mention them...

    Loegering's new track system

I talked to my friend after he got to use the tracks a bit. He said they were smooth and didn't tear up the ground very much. Overall, he liked them. The LS180 was underpowered with them though. Apparently the tracks eat up a lot of power. He said the machine with the tracks is slow. I...

    Loegering's new track system

A friend of mine had to put his LS180 in the shop and the dealer gave him an LS180 with the track system installed as a loaner. I'll ask him what he thinks or try it out myself. The dealer told my friend it would take two hours to change it over. It looked like a real pain to install. They...

    Block heater on NH LS180

I found it! It is behind the left side panel. Impossible to see unless you take the panel off. I guess I'll have to buy a short extension cord and route it out the top so I can get to it easily.

    Block heater on NH LS180

The owners manual shows it in the back right side. I was wondering if it is stashed away somewhere out of the way. I'll take the panel off and check.

    Block heater on NH LS180

It's listed as standard equipment in the brochure.

    Block heater on NH LS180

Mine is brand new. Where is the plug for the block heater?

Since all keys are the same, has anyone installed a kill switch?

I am going to put one in my LS180. What have you guys done to prevent theft?

    Bobcat vs. New Holland?

So what is NH going to change on their machines and are they coming out with AWS?

Did you have to pay a document fee when you bought your New Holland?

The dealer charged me $232 in "Document" fees when I bought my LS180 with New Holland Credit Financing. I was wondering if any of you have had the same experience.

Engine oil in New Holland skid steers

The manual for my LS180 specifies 10w30 engine oil. Why doesn't it require diesel motor oil? Is it okay to use synthetic oil like Mobil 1? Sorry if this has been covered but the search function won't accept the word "oil".

    What's a mini skid steer?

    Is it like a Dingo?

    Bobcat vs. New Holland?

Are Bobcats worth the extra money? I priced a Bobcat S300 with cab and heat for $37,000. A New Holland LS180 with 2 speed, cab and heat is 25,800. That's a big difference for me.
